Grand Theft Scratchy is the twelfth level of The Simpsons Game. To open the door of the creator's mansion, the Simpsons look for the four keycards in the four worlds created by the creator. This world is the video game 'Grand Theft Scratchy' and Marge and Lisa decide to clean it up.

Is a cult movie and now a cult game, thanks to EA and the title seems to be the perfect parody of all major gaming hits. As such, it also makes fun of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto, by including a level called 'Grand Theft Scratchy'. However, Rockstar's representatives are not too keen on this type of humor as they've requested that the GT Scratchy posters were taken down, after seeing them at the GC 2007.Since EA don't need a scandal right now and have got plenty of those thanks to Manhunt 2, they've decided to change the name of the level in The Simpsons Game.
It will now be called 'Mob Rules' instead of Grand Theft Scratchy, which is still a nice choice, but it doesn't sound as good as the original one. We really don't understand why Rockstar couldn't take the joke, but it must have been the fact that the poster for Grand Theft Scratchy was a very bloody one and the game was mentioned in EA's title as a violent media product.However, some proved that they can take jokes and I mean the guys from who loved the Sitar Hero posters and ordered a couple of them, showing their appreciation for EA's originality.
In the next 'The Simpsons' title, Electronic Arts will probably have to mock its own games, since it seems that making fun of other producer's titles is not a good idea any more. What about parody movies?

- Grand Theft Walrus is an arcade game seen being played by Homer in The Simpsons Movie. Also appears in episode 500 ('At Long Last Leave') in the background when Marge and Homer sneak into the bowling alley. As indicated by the title, it involves a Walrus doing various crimes in a city block.
