Recently, The Coalition's Rod Fergusson discussed the game with Guy Welch, Xbox's Marketing Director. Welch confirmed that the title was targeting 60 FPS for all modes on Xbox One X. That means that even the campaign should run at 60 FPS this time around.only managed to achieve 4K 60 FPS during multiplayer as the campaign was locked to 30 FPS. It's great to see The Coalition optimize Unreal Engine 4 so that it manages to hit a higher frame rate even during the visually-demanding story. However, keep in mind that at this point the 60 FPS campaign is only a promise and the game is probably more than a year away. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more. Gears of War 4 was a technical marvel on the original Xbox One so if anyone can push Unreal Engine 4 further, it's The Coalition.Keep an eye on for all the latest in Xbox and Windows 10 gaming, accessories, news, and reviews! This post may contain affiliate links.

Jul 22, 2016 - While Gears of War 4 is coming to both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, the experiences across the two platforms won't be identical.

Hi hope someone can help!I recently purchased gears of war 4 - for my alienware 15 laptop I installed it and started the game up cut scenes look and work great but when coming to the game play its stutters, its off colour, hardly see a thing! Even on the lowest graphic settings it stutters so cannot for the life of me understand why, It runs games like resident evil seven on the highest graphics absolutely perfect smooth as anything! My specs arei7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz16 GB RamNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB GDDR5)- 1 TB HDD, 7200 rpm- 256 GB SSDI assumed this would be powerful enough to run it, Am I wrong? Thanks. I purchased an Alienware 13 in December with near identical hardware aside from a 1 TB M.2. I opted for the 2560 x 1440 OLED screen and it runs the game fine at ultra settings so I don't think hardware is the issue.I just rebuilt my desktop and was having a stuttering issue with my fps staying 120+ which was weird. I found ASUS AI Suite 3's power management to be the culprit so had to change it from optimized to standard. I also set Windows power management to performance. I don't think this would be your issue as my laptop is set to balanced, but you can try performance to see what happens.Another thought is I've always turned off game DVR in the Xbox app settings.

I've read this can cause performance issues playing Windows 10 games. Hope you can get your issue resolved.
